Get Experience - High School

High school is meant to prepare you for the “real world.” Your first priority should be getting good grades, but in addition to that you can set yourself up for success in the future by getting practical experience, learning how to fill out applications, and building a strong network.

What do you do when you’re not attending or studying for classes?

I enjoy personal hobbies and I spend time with friends and family, but don’t have much else going on.

I participate in extracurricular school activities, like clubs and sports.

I volunteer or get involved in local community programs.

I work part-time.

I do a little bit of everything.
